Unveiling of Public Artwork for Past Adoption Practices in South Australia

You are invited to attend the unveiling of ‘The Space Between’ by
the South Australian Premier The Honourable Jay Weatherill. This commemorative public artwork is in recognition of the ongoing effects of past adoption practices in South Australia.
Where: Grundy Gardens, near the university footbridge along the River Torrens, close to the corner of Victoria Road and Frome Road, behind Adelaide University.

When: Thursday, 14 July 2016

Time: Please gather at 9.30am for proceedings beginning at 10.00am

Please note that due to the time of year, the weather can be unpredictable. A marquee will be available with standing room, along with some limited seating.

The Space Between artwork is funded by the Government of South Australia and Arts South Australia. Artwork designed by Deb Jones and Christine Cholewa (CHEB)

Parking and Public Transport

There is limited public car parking available along Victoria Road and Frome Street, however there are public car parks near the Royal Adelaide Hospital and on Frome Street.
