Easter Fun at Home

This Easter those who normally go on family holidays, attend community events, and catch up with or host friends, will be at home. So, let’s plan some fun Easter activities with the kids, at home!

As we are all making an effort to stay home unless absolutely necessary, this Easter will be quite different for many.

A classic Easter activity! Luckily, hiding chocolate eggs for little ones to find is an activity that is great to do just within your house and garden. Keep them running around and hunting to burn off that sugar too!

As the chocolate will wear off, we have put together some ideas for fun, creative and educational Easter activities that you can do with your kids while you’re inside over the long weekend.

For crafty families, there are plenty of Easter-themed activities. Why not try plant dying eggs, or making candles inside used eggshells? You could make pom-pom chicks, felt bunnies or pinecone rabbits. You could even make your own Easter Bonnets.

Why not try making hot cross buns from scratch, with your kids? Or if you want to do something different, here’s a list of traditional Easter foods which you could have a go at making together.

Dress ups and play-pretend games are excellent ways for kids to blow off steam. You could play Easter animals, have an Easter Dress-up Parade, a fancy Easter High Tea or an Easter sing-a-long. You can also take it in turns making up Easter-themed stories.

Whatever you choose to do, we hope your family has a safe and fun Easter at home!
