Making step parenting work

This course is for step parents, or people who are about to become step parents. Explore the complexities of step family situations and helpful ways to manage them.

Focus on kids

This course will assist parents to help their children cope with the changes and challenges that separation or divorce brings to family life.

It will help parents to gain an understanding of the dynamics between separation and parenting, and ways of managing the relationship with your ex-partner. Learn how to deal with the past, rejecting unhelpful patterns of relating and choose more helpful ways that assist your children with the changes.

The course will highlight the impact that separation has on children, what they may experience and how to develop parenting skills that are in the best interest of your child(ren).
